Eoghan ó Neachtain
Eoghan Ó Neachtain has over twenty years of experience in public affairs, communications and stakeholder management, and has a proven track record of achievement operating at the highest levels of Government, commercial semi state and international organisations.
Uniquely he served as Press Secretary to three Governments and Taoisigh. From 2000 to 2007, he was Head of Communications with Ireland’s national electricity utility the ESB, and before that again he served in the Irish Defence Forces – retiring in 2000 with the rank of Commandant after spending the last six years of his military career as the Defence Forces’ Head of Communications. Prior to joining Heneghan, he spent three years as Group Head of Public Affairs at ERVIA.
He has a proven ability in the formulation and implementation of strategic plans and has developed an unparalleled level of expertise of the most senior levels of politics and the media.
